To say that Thule’s beginnings in the U.S. were humble would be an understatement. Strong & Durable : Thule LB50 Roof Rack Load Bars (50-Inch, Set of 2)
These bars work really well, but there are two things to know:
1) the end caps are pictured, but are NOT included with these. The end caps come with the foot pack or can be purchased separately
2) when you attach things like Thule bike racks or ski attachments, the plastic skin can become cut by tightening the attachments to the bar. This can lead to rust and failure over the very long term. They should have used a tiny bit tougher plastic skin.
Be sure to use the end caps or they will rust from the inside out.
